A paid third-party tool that automates Day Parting (Amazon PPC) by analyzing hourly campaign performance and suggesting bid adjustments directly, as an alternative to the manual Manual Hourly Day-Parting Analysis (Pivot Table Method).
AdLabs' raw suggested bid adjustments can be extreme (e.g. +270%) and are not applied as-is. Sophie Society's Oliver manually moderates them before applying — typically +15% to +60% increases for genuinely strong hours, and larger cuts for hours that are clearly bad but have very little data to back the suggestion.
Run this way on one account, it cut ACOS nearly in half while sales grew exponentially.
In AdLabs, the day-parting tool lives under Optimize > Day parting. The workflow: copy AdLabs' day-parting calculator Google Sheet template, paste in the same hourly Amazon export used for Manual Hourly Day-Parting Analysis (Pivot Table Method) (2 weeks / 14 days of hourly data), then review three tabs the calculator produces — "days of the week," "hour of day," and "bid change rules" — before applying anything.
AdLabs' suggested bid-change percentages (which can be extreme, e.g. +270%) are treated as directional signals, not literal instructions to apply as-is. One practitioner's moderation layer: color-code each hour by severity (bright/light red for cuts, bright/light green for increases) based on judgment after cross-checking AdLabs' suggested % against that hour's ACOS and click/order volume, then manually type in a tempered adjustment — typically +15% to +60% for increases, larger cuts only for hours that are both clearly underperforming and low-volume (so a bad ACOS isn't just noise from a handful of clicks). The moderated schedule is then saved and applied against chosen campaigns. Re-optimization cadence and bid isolation for this schedule: see Day-Parting Re-Optimization Cadence & Change-Isolation Rule.
