Generating alternate outfits or physical states of an already-established lead character — for example a disguise, a costume change, or another narrative state change — by reusing the character's locked reference asset (see Three-Panel Character Sheet) rather than creating a new character from scratch.
Because the identity lock (face, build, casting) already exists, the prompt only needs to specify what changes (clothing, condition) and the model has a stable anchor for everything else, which keeps the variation recognizably the same character.
When the story calls for the lead to appear differently later (new outfit, disguise, damaged/worn state), prompt from the locked character reference with only the delta described, instead of re-running character creation.
