A framework for calibrating the altitude of communication to the audience: a 10,000-ft strategic view for the executive team/board, a 3,000-ft view for peers, and ground-level detail — 'in the grids' — for execution teams and ICs.
This is distinct from Three-Level Decision Framework (Strategic / Product / Execution), which sorts decisions by who should own them. Communication altitude is about how a leader talks about those decisions to different audiences — the same strategic call may need three different tellings depending on who's listening.
Golubovski ties this directly to a hiring failure mode: see Altitude-Sampling Bias in Product Leader Hiring.
