A content loop is a product-led-growth acquisition mechanism where a user creates a piece of content or artifact within the product and shares it with others inside their organization, and that sharing itself drives further adoption of the tool. Figma (shared design files) and Canva (shared designs/docs) both grow this way: the artifact a user makes is naturally something colleagues need to open, comment on, or edit, pulling new users into the product without a separate acquisition channel.
Apply: when designing a collaborative product, ask whether the core artifact a user produces is something coworkers are naturally compelled to interact with — if so, deliberately make that artifact easy to share with minimal friction (e.g., no forced signup) to view, since the sharing act itself becomes the growth channel.
