A Data Dive feature reporting a keyword's total search volume, Google/Amazon trend graphs, and demand stability over time, with explicit volume bands:
The scorecard exists to catch "social hype" products — items trending on social media that don't show equivalent Amazon search demand ("This is a social hype, which doesn't mean an equally Amazon or high Amazon demand"). It is normally the first check applied to a candidate product within the Five Reasons Amazon FBA Products Fail, and should be read alongside Keyword Ecosystem Validation rather than on a single keyword alone.
Search-volume changes over time are mainly driven by two things: normal seasonality, and shifts in Amazon's autocomplete/auto-fill suggestions. Auto-fill-sourced volume tends to run inflated relative to real demand, so a keyword's raw popularity as a suggested search term should be discounted rather than taken at face value — just because a term is searched 100 times a month doesn't mean it should be launched around. Cross-check apparent demand against the relevancy bucketing in Keyword Ecosystem Validation before trusting it.
