'Good Keywords' Scaling Campaign

A dedicated PPC campaign created purely to hold proven, profitable keywords — the ones marked green during the Excel-Based PPC Report Color-Coding Workflow review — pulled out of the original Six-Campaign PPC Launch Structure campaigns and funded aggressively.

Workflow: create a new campaign named [product] good keywords, matching the original match type (exact/phrase) of each keyword being moved, and set a high daily budget ($50–$100+) so profitable spend isn't capped by a launch-sized budget. This is the "harvest the winners" counterpart to negative-keywording the losers out of the original campaigns.

Sourcing Keywords Into the Scaling Campaign

Keywords that graduate into this campaign are the 'green' bucket from the Excel-Based PPC Report Color-Coding Workflow triage — i.e., search terms already proven profitable in a broader campaign, moved into their own campaign and given a larger bid/budget specifically because they're de-risked.

Single-Keyword Exact-Match Migration

When a keyword proves itself — high volume, high CTR, high conversion, whether surfaced through keyword research or discovered inside an automatic campaign (see Automatic Campaign Four-Way Split (Close Match, Loose Match, Substitutes, Complements)) — isolate it into its own dedicated exact-match campaign containing that single keyword. This lets you fine-tune the bid for that one term without it being diluted by broad/phrase traffic or averaged against other keywords in the same ad group.

Automatic Campaigns as the Discovery Source

Automatic targeting campaigns are deliberately run at a higher ACoS at first because their real function is as a discovery engine, not an end-performance channel: download and analyze the Amazon Search Term Report from a running auto campaign, extract the top-performing discovered search terms and product targets, and relaunch them as dedicated exact-match manual campaigns feeding this scaling structure.

Plateau-Breaking via Search-Term-Family Reinforcement (Study Key)

When Study Key's sales plateaued, Sophie Society restructured PPC around already-proven search-term families instead of further optimizing ACOS. The process: (1) find medium-search-volume, relevant search-term families already ranking and converting well from existing ad spend; (2) build laser-targeted ranking campaigns around those specific terms rather than campaigns aimed at minimizing ad cost; (3) rewrite thumbnail, title, and listing copy to match the proven-converting terms; (4) repeat — 'do more of what works' — until the listing is maxed out on that keyword set. The shift in framing matters: campaigns here are built to move organic rank, not to hit an ACOS target, which is the same distinction TACOS vs. ACOS is tracking at the account level.
