Helium 10 X-Ray

A Chrome extension that overlays an Amazon search-results page with data Amazon doesn't publish natively: monthly sales, sales history, revenue, fees, and review counts per listing.

It is the data source behind most of the numeric checks in the product-validation checklist: Main Keyword & Organic Listing Validation Protocol (filtering out sponsored listings and reading organic order), Safe Niche Threshold Checklist (review-count and price-floor checks), Manual Top-Listing Demand Scan (X-Ray Distrust) (per-listing sales/revenue instead of the page's averaged summary), and Amazon Niche Saturation Diagnosis (listing age).

Key usage rule: don't sort results by revenue or sales — that surfaces outliers and defeats organic-order analysis. Use the filters option to hide sponsored (SP-tagged) listings first, then read the remaining organic listings in their natural order.

Chrome Extension Overlay

In practical use, X-Ray surfaces its estimated monthly revenue/sales data as an overlay directly on live Amazon search-results and product pages while browsing — not just inside a separate Helium 10 dashboard. That lets a researcher scroll a search-results page and instantly see estimated revenue next to each listing, which is what makes it fast enough to use as a first-pass competitor scan before running deeper tools like Reverse ASIN Lookup (Helium 10 Cerebro) or Data Dive Niche Dive Tool (Automated Competitor Selection).

Alibaba Supplier Finder Button

X-ray includes a button that links directly from a competitor's Amazon listing to matching Alibaba suppliers, chaining sales/review data pulled on that listing straight into supplier discovery. Apply: run X-ray on a competitor's listing, then click through to Alibaba to quickly find and price out potential suppliers for the same product, rather than searching Alibaba from scratch.

Use in Reverse-ASIN Competitor Selection

X-Ray is also used, functionally analogous to Data Dive's Reverse ASIN Lookup (Data Dive) (Divebox) and Data Dive ASIN Tray (Manual Competitor Curation), to identify and sales-verify bestselling, genuinely relevant competitor listings before they're fed into a reverse-ASIN keyword pull.
