Hero-Loses-First Narrative Arc (Setback-Before-Payoff)

A narrative-structure rule invoked in the Higgsfield 'I Made a Cinematic Ad' walkthrough for building the emotional payoff of a commercial's ending: the protagonist has to lose, get knocked down, or suffer a visible setback before the comeback win, or the win won't land emotionally. The video frames it explicitly as borrowed from sports-film convention ('the hero never wins right away... he gets knocked down and then comes back. That's what makes the win mean something') and applies it to structure the action beats of an AI-generated football/robot commercial.

Apply: when planning the beat structure of a commercial or short narrative video, insert a visible setback or loss for the protagonist before the final win/payoff shot — do not cut straight from setup to victory.
