When Photoshop's generative fill doesn't fully clear an unwanted background element on the first attempt, re-select the remaining traces and re-request the fill rather than treating the first pass as final. Used to remove a visible water tank from behind product cans that had otherwise been generated with an unwanted background.
Generative fill removal is not guaranteed to be complete in one pass — leftover fragments of the removed element often remain. Selecting just those leftovers and re-running the fill catches what the first pass missed, converging on a clean result across two or more short iterations instead of one large edit.
Applied in the Arcti project to remove a visible water tank that had leaked into the generated background: select the unwanted area and run generative fill, then repeat the selection-and-fill on any remaining fragments the first pass missed rather than expecting one pass to fully clear the element.
