Minimum Keyword Search-Volume Threshold (~300/Month)

A rule of thumb for filtering keyword lists during research: a keyword needs at least roughly 300 monthly searches to be worth targeting. Volumes around 100/month are treated as not a good keyword — too little traffic to justify ranking or ad spend against it.

Used as a cutoff filter alongside Midtail Keyword Prioritization and High-Conversion Keyword Selection Strategy when narrowing a large keyword pull (e.g. from Reverse ASIN Lookup (Helium 10 Cerebro)) down to the terms actually worth building a listing or campaign around.
