Posture Alignment Drills (Ears-Heart-Pelvis & the Rearview Mirror Trick)
Two concrete Chase Hughes drills for training the "movement" trip wire in The Five Authority Trip Wires:
- Ears-heart-pelvis checkpoint — periodically check that your ears sit over your heart and your heart sits over your pelvis, while staying relaxed rather than rigid. The goal is aligned, comfortable posture, not a stiff military brace.
- Rearview mirror trick — tilt your car's rearview mirror up slightly so that checking it forces you to straighten your posture to see out of it. The habit compounds throughout the day every time you check the mirror.
Complements the Underwater Speed Limit drill on Predator Movement / Attention Control, which trains the same trip wire through movement speed rather than alignment.
