To blend an AI-generated freeze-frame effect (e.g., a bullet-time or morph clip anchored on a single still frame) seamlessly back into real filmed footage: duplicate the generated clip, reverse the duplicate so it plays backward to the exact frame it started from, and append it right after the forward clip. This creates a boomerang that returns to the frozen moment, at which point editing resumes the original real footage from that same cut point. The edit then reads as one continuous shot rather than a visible splice into an AI-generated section and back out.
Demonstrated in a Higgsfield 'bullet time' tutorial, but the technique is tool-agnostic — it applies to any generative video effect that starts from a single still frame extracted from real footage (see Start Frame as the Primary Determinant of AI Video Quality for why that extracted frame's quality matters). It's a lighter-weight alternative to Transition Scene Generation for Spatial Continuity, which generates an entire transition scene rather than boomeranging a single effect clip back to its own start frame.
