Irrelevant Search Results as a Low-Competition Signal

A quick heuristic for gauging how under-served a keyword/niche is: search the term on Amazon and look at page 1. If the results include clearly off-topic products (e.g. a search for a healing tool returning necklaces or lava rocks), that's a sign Amazon's algorithm couldn't find enough genuinely relevant listings to fill the page — meaning real competition in that exact niche is thin.
