Short-Message Technique for Busy Executives

A messaging approach for reaching senior executives on Slack or WhatsApp: skip casual slang and skip long written explanations. Instead, ask permission for a short synchronous conversation — e.g. "I have one or two quick questions, have you got two minutes?" — and resolve the actual question live on a brief video call rather than in a long written back-and-forth.

The message itself isn't the payload; it's a low-friction door-opener to a higher-bandwidth channel, which matters more for executives whose attention is the scarcest resource in the stakeholder set.
