Career-Hacking Typology: Starters, Builders, Super Scalers

A three-way classification of career fit by company stage, from Gibson Biddle:

Biddle self-identifies as a builder, and uses the typology to explain his own career-fit judgment: by the time Netflix needed people with PhDs in statistics for AI/ML work (circa 2010), he considered himself, in his own words, "a poor fit for Netflix today." The lesson: match your role and company-stage choice to which type you actually are, rather than defaulting to the founder or big-company path.
