Tomer Cohen's framework for diagnosing organizational lag: every organization has a 'time constant of change' (how fast the external environment — markets, technology, required skills — is moving) and a 'time constant of response' (how fast the organization can actually adapt). When AI accelerates the former faster than a company can move the latter, the gap between the two is the transformation problem, and it can't be closed by tooling alone — only by restructuring how work is organized (see LinkedIn's Full-Stack Builder Model, Pods (Full-Stack Builder Teams)).
Apply: before prescribing a fix, measure which side of the gap is actually failing — a slow-moving market paired with a slow org doesn't need the same intervention as a fast-moving market paired with a slow org.
