Practice of showcasing discovery work itself — prototypes, user research findings, validated/invalidated assumptions — as a standing demo, distinct from and in addition to delivery/sprint demos. Recommended as a concrete way to make the new way of working visible to doubters (see Believers vs. Doubters (Transformation Stakeholder Split)) who otherwise only see output cadence and can't tell that anything about "how work gets decided" has changed. Discovery demos make the Discovery (Product Discovery Process) process itself part of the evidence base for Trust-Building via Visible Learning, rather than leaving trust to be built solely on shipped features.
Traditional stakeholder demos showcase shipped delivery output; discovery demos instead showcase the discovery work itself — research readouts, experiments run, customer testing sessions — making the new, discovery-driven way of working visible to skeptics before any output ships.
Apply: run discovery demos specifically as a trust-building tool for winning over doubters, not just as an internal team ritual — each one is a deposit in the Bank of Trust.
