FBA Inventory Report & Days-of-Supply Monitoring

The FBA Inventory Report (Fulfillment > Inventory > "more") surfaces two figures sellers otherwise track blind: historical days-of-supply per ASIN and per-unit inventory age. The days-of-supply column sets a proactive-monitoring cadence — start watching around 42 days of supply, treat anything under 28 days as the point to act, and don't let supply fall below roughly 35 days at minimum — which exists to head off Amazon's low-inventory-level fee before it's triggered.

The inventory-age column lets a seller target aged-inventory fees precisely: liquidate or discount only the specific aged units driving the fee, rather than clearing an ASIN's entire stock. Complements AWD (Amazon Warehousing and Distribution) and MCF (Multi-Channel Fulfillment) as an operational lever for managing FBA-held inventory.
