The working group runs the Preparation inputs, participates in the Strategy Sprint (including Strategy Sprint Day 2: Problem Clustering, Reframing, and Pillar Ranking), and carries the resulting pillars into the Design Sprint.
The mechanism bakes alignment into the process rather than treating it as a separate change-management task afterward: people who help build a strategy default to defending it, so cross-functional co-creation front-loads buy-in that a rollout deck alone can't manufacture. This distinguishes the working group from the ongoing Product Trio/Extended Trio (Commercial Stakeholders in Product Trios) used for day-to-day discovery — the working group is a temporary, wider body assembled specifically to produce one strategy.
